I didn’t get to see Jagun Jagun in the cinema due to time constraints but thankful for a platform such as Netflix I was able to see it with my family this evening.

The movie, “Jagun Jagun ” was able to encapsulate Yoruba tradition and wartime society while infusing some elements of Chinese (CHI FU) sword fights.

The movie is an intense drama that keep you on the edge and the fact that the end couldn’t be easily guessed was a spice to the movie.

This not only highlights Femi Adebayo’s versatility and talent that we all know but also presents an engaging storyline and the ending wasn’t easily detected until the climax, I was also immersed in its high-stakes conflict, intense emotions, and the complexities of our nature as human. thus making it easy to explore the themes of crime, war, jealousy, betrayal, revenge, absolute authority, resentment, death, and love among others.
